Amy is a fourth-generation Austinite and Broker Associate with Compass Real Estate. You could say real estate is in Amy’s DNA, beginning with her great-grandfather who bought and sold land in Austin when it was still a small town, to her grandfather who was a founding member of the Austin Board of Realtors® in the 1950s, to her mother who is an active real estate investor in the Austin market. Prior to real estate, Amy worked as a management consultant for Accenture and later as a negotiation consultant for the pioneers in principled negotiation and authors of “Getting to Yes.” The art of masterful negotiation is one of Amy’s specialties, and nothing pleases her more than devising a creative and winning strategy on behalf of her clients.
Amy brings invaluable local knowledge to her clients and she truly knows Austin inside and out. Her intuitive nature allows her to successfully match her client’s lifestyle and desires with the right neighborhood and property, saving them time and frustration. She is respected for her integrity, clear communication, and responsiveness, and has developed a reputation for bringing peace and calm to the often stressful process of buying and selling – something that truly sets her apart. Amy’s clients consistently remark that they not only have a fierce advocate in Amy, but also a friend. Building trust and genuine connection with clients is the cornerstone of Amy’s referral based business.
Amy and her fellow Austin-native husband, Jonathan, live in Balcones Park with their three teenage children. Amy is active in supporting the community through her involvement in Helping Hand Home for Children and her church. When she is not helping clients, Amy can be found at one of her children’s events, walking the beautiful hills of Balcones Park with her cavapoo Millie, relaxing with a cup of tea, or dining outside at one of Austin’s local food treasures.
