What Is Sixty Plus Uncensored?
A (someday) wildly popular podcast and YouTube channel for (at least semi-) affluent, (likely) home-owning adults aged 60+ with open minds and a good sense of humor. Guests are expected to bring a mix of value, entertainment, and authenticity.
And you know how they say, “Dance like nobody is watching?” Our motto on Sixty Plus Uncensored is, “Talk like nobody is listening.” Because that’s the case – rest assured, nobody actually listens to Sixty Plus Uncensored, so guests should feel free to be completely unscripted, natural, and unfettered!
Who You’re Speaking To
- Age: 60+
- Lifestyle: Mostly retired or semi-retired, homeowners, relatively affluent
- Mindset: Open-minded, looking for relevance, entertainment, financial wisdom, and connection
- Values: Trust, simplicity, independence, wit, depth, and maybe a little nostalgia
Key Characteristics
✅ Smart but not stuffy. You’re talking to people who’ve seen it all. Give them substance, but deliver it with humor, warmth, and authenticity.

Show Format
We record the show using riverside.fm which is a platform built especially for recording video podcasts and runs inside a web browser. There’s no software to download, but you should have a quiet place with good lighting, reasonably high bandwidth, and a webcam that’s capable of high-definition (1080p) recording.
The shows are typically about 45 minutes long. It will begin with a short introduction of the podcast, the host, and then the guest. The first question will typically be, “So, Guest – how old are you?” You can answer honestly, or not answer at all, but it’s just a way to get the conversation started.
Rather than going from a prepared list of questions, we prefer to have a loose, small set of topics to discuss – from which will spring impromptu, genuine conversations about issues that people over 60 (or those who care about them) will find compelling enough to listen all the way through, become subscribers, and share your episode with their friends and family.
One Last Thing
Sixty Plus Uncensored is about honest, real conversations — the kind you can’t always have in polite company. But ‘uncensored’ doesn’t mean hateful. We don’t provide a stage for racism, antisemitism, homophobia, misogyny, or any form of discrimination. If that’s your bag, you’ll need to take it elsewhere. Our goal is to connect, enlighten, and affirm, not tear down. If you can bring candor without cruelty, you’ll feel right at home here.
