Carole Sue Fiedler

Born and raised in New York I studied Psychology and Art History,
Wading to a successful career in New York’s City’s exciting residential real estate market. Giving that up in 1990, I followed my dreams and moved to San Francisco. It was shortly after that I learned that PWA’s (people with AIDS), were selling their life insurance policies and getting cash for their final days.

Having found my new passion, In 1994, after educating and working with the CA Dept of Insurance to create the proper regulations for this burgeoning field, I was awarded the very first Viatical Settlement Broker license in California and the nation. This license allows me to represent the policy owners and sellers, to multiple buyers, generate competitive offers to ensure the highest payment is made.

In 1997 the first “Senior” or “elder” settlements were completed and a new version of viaticals - only for the terminally ill - became an industry unto itself. Life Settlements are for people without a terminal illness and over 75 on average.

Now, 31 years later I remain passionate about this work and protecting consumers rights around this process.

Currently, in addition to brokering policies, I educate, consult, advise and am always open to discussing this.
I happily provide complimentary policy settlement analysis to let policy owners know what options they have in the event they need to access cash.

Today’s Life Settlement industry is an international, multi-billion dollar industry, yet still, mostly unknown and/or misunderstood. I strive to change that if even one person at a time.
